What a great day it turned out to be. We had 11 pilots
at the pilots meeting, but ended up flying with 9 for
the day after some technical problems. It was cold and
breezy in the morning and moved to moderate and breezy
in the afternoon. We had a few pops offs early in the
day, and some of us needed to use the entire start line
left to right just to get the plane in the air. (I'm
going to use the excuse that the winch lines have been
wound up all winter and was pulling me sideways across
everyone's winch lines.) I had a blast and came home
with all parts intact. That's a win for me! I was 277
points away from pulling my Flight Group 1 sticker off
my wing. Maybe next time. Thanks to everyone for
coming out to start our DARTS season.
