Event details: AMA flight rules
25 foot landing tape, 100 points
max, 1 point per 3 inches
Seeded Man on Man format for flight groups
Flight scores normalized, then landing scores added
Contest Director: Ken Davidson
Pre Contest note:
I would like to have the pilots meeting at 9:30 and
first launch at 10:00. The winches will need to be
set-up by 9:30 to get started at 10:00. We will see what
the weather brings us but at least it looks dry.

The following construction guidelines will be followed
(Woody Rules by Ray Hayes):
1. Wing and Stab are built up from wood
2. No restriction on spar construction or materials
3. No Molded D-Tube leading edge construction
4. Fuselage can be wood, glassed wood or molded
Fiberglass including the fin
5. Carbon reinforcement can be used on any part of the
structure.
Post Contest results:
The DARTS Annual Woody Contest was held on 12 July 2014.
We had eight flyers and completed eight rounds. The
weather was good but lift was limited. The task was 10
minutes for each round but there were only seven max
flights.
